Ailee ranks #1 in Germany's Top 10 Female Singers

Female soloist Ailee ranks no. 1 in a poll conducted by Germany under the category "Top 10 Female Singers".

The successful rookie with a powerful voice has beaten other popular female singers like BoA, IU, HyunAh, G.NA and others.

Garnering a total of 41.51% of the total votes, Ailee emerged on the top of the list followed by BoA with 28.80%,4-minute's Hyun Ah with 22.05%, next is IU and Sistar's Hyorin on the 5th place.

Other female singers who participated in the poll are G.NA, 2NE1's Park Bom and CL, Lee Hi and SNSD's Taeyeon.

A total of 2065 voters has participated in Germany's Kpop Ranking.

Ailee is one of the brightest rising idol for her successful hit songs like Heaven and I'll Show You. She is also known for her appearances in Dream High 2 and Immortal Song 2.

One of those is Mighty Mouth's Sangchu who entered the army on October 2012. He relieved the anxiety of his fans when he tweeted and I quote, " I'm doing GOOD ma tweople! No worries. Thanx a billion for yo letters n gifts. Let's stay positive n strong! Now all we need is PEACE!!".

Jessica and Taeyeon shared a few BTS photos from the set of “Beep Beep“!
The girls released a short PV for their Japanese track and the girls gave fans another look into their pink-covered set. Since most of the music video was done with Computer Graphics, most of the background was just a green screen. However, some of the props, such as the pink phone and the giant pink lipstick, were real, and the girls happily snapped selcas of it.
Jessica took pictures with YoonA, Hyoyeon, and Sunny and posted the photos onto their official board, writing, “Hello? Sone? I miss you~! Also, I’m okay hehe. Then bye~~~ Click~ Beep~ Beep~ Beep~~~”
Taeyeon also uploaded some photos of her own onto her Instagram, simply writing, “Hey :)” and“Hmmm… i gatta call u right now [sic]!! Photo by. Pinkmonster Tiff☆ <new mv – Beepbeep>“.

Girls’ Generation‘s Taeyeon and YoonA were spotted literally running away from photographers at the airport recently.
Despite the amount of thought idols are putting into ‘airport fashion’ these days, the two Girls’ Generation members let media know that they didn’t want to be captured on camera.
On April 6th, the group arrived at Gimpo International airport in Korea after wrapping up their ‘Saitama Super Arena Concert‘ overseas. The other 7 members walked slowly as usual, but YoonA and Taeyeon avoided paparazzi and ran all the way outside the airport. Many fans who were waiting for them wondered where the pair was. Netizens are saying that the runaways probably didn’t want to be photographed with no makeup on.
In other news, Girls’ Generation will be on their Japanese Arena Tour until April 21st KST.

Hangeng loses consciousness in the water, almost drowned

Former Super Junior member Hangeng fainted in the water.

In a clip released by 'Stars in Danger', it showed Hangeng fainted in the water after jumping into a swimming pool.

On the clip, he was getting ready to jump off from the diving board. He did a handstand before falling flat chested in the water.

However, staff were alarmed when he didn't appear from the water and still lying there on his back. He was rescued quickly and fortunately, he coughed off some water and regained his consciousness when he was being brought to the side of the pool. It was said that he fainted for about 10 seconds.

New Planet Entertainment announced on A-PRINCE's official Facebook page that A-Prince's leader Sungwon is part of a musical, SUMMER SNOW, in Osaka, Japan from April to June.

He will portray the role of Hiroto. He will also be with Super Junior's Sungmin, FT Island's Seunghyun, Supernova‘s Sungje, U-KISS's Kevin and Soohyun, SS501‘s Heo Young Saeng, AOA's Yuna and others. 

Summer Snow is derived from the Japanese popular drama aired on TBS in 2000.

According to an article written by Park Si-soo which was posted in Korea Times website, Psy, who changed the norms with “Gangnam Style”, was the highest-paid Korean celebrity for 2012.

There will be no doubt about that as he gained a world-wide popularity through his song. He earned more than $40 million in sales through concerts, TV commercials and others. 

He topped Bigbang (2nd), Kim Yuna (3rd), Girls’ Generation (4th), and Son Yeon-jae (5th).

The ranking of looks among Teen Top members has been revealed. The result shows that the owner of the charming lips is the number 1, who is none other than Niel.

Teen Top recently has had an interview with 'Boys Central'. During the interview, they were asked who was the best-looking in the group wherein the members unitedly chose  Niel.

The reason behind the result was because of his one of a kind lips. His lips has been his trademark and becomes a unique part of his charm.

In addition, the boys have been selected as the cover models for 'Boys Central'. In a survey conducted by the magazine staff, Teen Top emerged as the most popular boy group among elementary and high school students.

The said magazine featuring Teen Top is scheduled to be on shelves by April 8th. The magazine's comeback is being anticipated as it became popular in the 1980's.

JYJ talks about future plans in Japan

JYJ held a press conference on April 4th prior to the last day of their ‘2013 JYJ Concert in Tokyo Dome - The Return of the JYJ’ and the members talked about how they felt about their concerts and their plans for their future in Korea and Japan.

Park Yoochun expressed, “We hope that the concert will serve as an opening for us to start up our Japanese promotions again. But after legal issues have been sorted out, it’s not all that smooth sailing in reality and our future in Japan was still unclear.”

He continued, “We hope that our Japan promotions can be carried out successfully. Even if it’s just a small event, we still hope to participate in it. We’ll try our best.”

Kim Junsu said, “It took a long time for us to come back. With that, we’ll work hard to leave behind no regrets. I think JYJ’s new album will be the major activity of 2013. But as we are still talking about this, it’s hard to tell. We will see you with good music soon.”

Two Months’ Kim Ye Rim to release a solo album before duo’s debut

Due to personal reasons, Superstar K3’s 3rd place winners Two Months (Do Dae Yoon andKim Ye Rim) will be postponing their official debut. However, fans will be a bit appeased to know that one of the members, Kim Ye Rim will go ahead and make a solo debut through an album release first.

Two Months had signed with singer/songwriter Yoon Jong Shin’s label in September of 2012. Thus, Yoon Jong Shin announced via his twitter the news of Two Months’ change of plans saying, “Member Do Dae Yoon had to return to the States to finish high school, which he had taken time off for to pursue his music career. Kim Ye Rim will be releasing a solo project to hold the patient fans down, some time during May or June.”

Two Months rose to fame by finishing third on the audition program, Superstar K3, behind Busker Busker and Ulala Session.

Han Chae Young displays barbie doll figure despite being pregnant

After announcing her pregnancy, actress Han Chae Young, who is dubbed the Barbie Doll of Korea, still flaunts her good looks and perfect figure in her latest pictorial for ‘1st Look’ magazine.

On April 4th, the fashion magazine revealed photos of the actress, showing a beautiful look and a gorgeous body shape. Wearing luxurious dress and accessories, Han Chae Young boasted her usual sexy and mature charms.

At the interview with magazine, she talked about her pregnancy, “I can’t quite feel it yet. I don’t feel anything different. Maybe it's because only 13 weeks has passed. I was very happy to know it while I was still working. Now that I have finished a piece, I’ll be focusing on managing my body.”

Meanwhile, Han Chae Young, who currently casting in KBS drama ‘Advertisement Genius Lee Tae Baek’, is on 15th week of her pregnancy after being married for six years.

SNSD "I Got A Boy" Makeup Tutorial

Hey everyone! I wanted to kick off tutorials for the new year with a really fun K-pop inspired makeup tutorial. Literally the day the I Got A Boy music video from Girls Generation was uploaded a week ago, requests have been pouring in and I can certainly tell why! This is their comeback song so it's catchy and the video is flashy and entertaining. Very cool makeup to play around with! :D

This is my completed makeup look! I clipped in some blonde hair extensions and threw on my Tokidoki hat to go with the urban-chic vibe.



For the eyes I used a golden shadow and contoured with a matte tan to make the gold pop. Below the eyes I used individual false lashes with a gradation of colorful rhinestones to mimic the sparkling effect of Jessica's makeup. 


You can also see the glow of the highlighter I added to my cheeks and nose bridge to make my face look extra youthful. I used the new Urban Decay Flushed palette which so far I am enjoying. It comes out everywhere on February 1st so I'll try to do a review soon. :)

This was mimicking the dance pose from the video where they were patting their cheeks. ^_^
